Unfortunately, THE YARD Cardboard Boat Building Competition, originally scheduled to take place April 18th has been cancelled. The hosts of the event, FM99 WNOR, may choose to reschedule for a later date. If interested in participating, or for updates, please contact the radio station directly and ask for Paula Hill.

Join us at Scott's Creek Marina on April 18th to find out which local shipyard will earn the right to be called The Yard, and which Sub-Contract will earn the title of The Yard's Force! Will Norfolk Naval Shipyard and UHP Projects be able to reclaim their titles? Or will new winners emerge? Find out on April 18th as FM99 and VSRA present the utimate cardboard boat building competition!
A delicious lunch will be provided by Dickey's BBQ. The event will also feature family entertainment and fun for all ages. Enter the raffle for a chance to win great prizes, with proceeds benefiting the FM99 Christmas Wish Foundation and the Virginia Ship Repair Foundation.
Come out and root for your favorite Shipyard and Subcontractors as they try to build an unsinkable cardboard boat. These skilled craftsmen represent the very best tradesmen in the country!
