Government Budget Process
Understanding the Federal budgetary process can provide business leaders greater insight toward forecasting changes in government contract activity and opportunity. The Budget seminar will review budgetary legislation, players, and processes within the Federal government to highlight their impact upon government contracting in the Maritime Industry. Panelist will discuss as an example the President’s Budget formulation process relevant to the Department of Defense discretionary budget and its path toward enactment within the National Defense Authorization Act of 2016.
Refreshments will be served, with a reception following the seminar.
