VSRA General Membership Luncheon Meeting MOVED TO July 11th

VSRA Board of Directors meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the odd numbered months. The General Membership Luncheon meetings are held the third Tuesday of every month.

OSHA 10 Hour Maritime Course #7615 (July 19-20)

The OSHA-10 hour course awards the 10-hour certification card and meets all of the mandated regulations for the Maritime Industry (OSHA Code of Federal Regulations 29 CFR 1915) course 7615 in a format that specifically addresses the challenges and environmental conditions specific to the shipyards. In addition, ship yard specific regulations and issues are covered in depth. Instructors are authorized by OSHA endorsed certification programs. The completion card is valid for 5 years at which time the course must be repeated. Cards are issued through the Instructor's certifying body. All book, material and certification costs are covered in the course fee.

This month's Cybersecurity Committee Meeting will take place on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 9:00 AM in the VSRA office, located at 150 Boush Street (Suite 802), Norfolk, VA 23510. OSHA 30 Hour Shipyard Employment #7635 (July 31-August 3) CANCELED

The 30 hour course also allows for more in-depth class discussion. It is designed to provide more safety information for supervisors and lead personnel.
