SR ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

SENIOR ENGINEERING TECHNICIANS – VA 8 positions 1/2017 18-11 NDI Engineering Company is seeking candidates with six (6) years of experience including practical engineering experience which should include the operation, test, maintenance and repair of naval ship Hull, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Ordnance equipment and systems. Three (3) years of experience, should have been gained in the development and updating of Engineering Operational Sequencing Systems (EOSS) on U.S. Navy ships using ISODRAW and Adept Editor software to incorporate necessary changes to update existing and generate new construction EOSS packages, including the creation of EOSS files in SGML and CGM formats and conversion to PDF; and update of the content@ database. More recent experience will be rated higher. Individual shall possess a high school, trade or industrial school or GED equivalent. Qualifications

- Minimum of five years verifiable work experience in the ship repair industry
- Basic trade specific knowledge, such as n understanding of power tools and their usage
- Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the testing and repair of electrical components
- Reliability and dependability
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
