Applicants must be able to connect, install, and remove wiring, fixtures, and equipment for all electrical services aboard ships utilizing blueprints, wiring diagrams, and test equipment. Applicants must also be able to coordinate and direct subordinates in the completion of one or more assigned task, provide timely feedback to the Lead or Task Supervisor regarding milestones in the project schedule; communicate verbally or in writing all deviations identified in the specified scope of work. Must be a US Citizen. Drug screen and Background Investigation required. Must possess a High School diploma or GED; US Navy Electrical / Electronic A or C schools or equivalent electrical trade schools preferred. Education

Qualifications
Typically, employers require:
- Minimum of five years verifiable work experience in the ship repair industry
- Basic trade specific knowledge, such as n understanding of power tools and their usage
- Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the testing and repair of electrical components
- Reliability and dependability
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
