Description: MYMIC Simulations ("MYMIC") is looking for a talented, high-performing Manager to drive sales growth for our Training Technologies in the areas of workplace safety and operational excellence with a specific focus on on-shore maritime industry facilities. This position requires a working knowledge of OSHA rules and compliance standards. Individual will service existing and past customers in the Marina business area, performing site visits using corporate checklists and relevant training which MYMIC has developed. Position offers a combination of base salary and commissions with an annual compensation potential of over $100K. An equity position in the company is also negotiable. Ideal candidate should be comfortable conducting both on-site audits of customer facilities and interacting with them to secure follow-on or new work. Duties: Individual will have full responsibility for and manage site visit schedules and sales process from opportunity qualification through customer purchase and work to ensure successful delivery. Responsible for product demonstrations, proposal development and agreement negotiation as well as continuous account management, expansion and forecasting.
Required KSA’s:
Demonstrated past experience with OSHA compliance standards
Comfortable with one-on-one interactions with existing and new customers
Ability to perform Direct Sales activities representing MYMIC to decision makers at client sites and professional conferences and meetings in order to achieve or exceed company defined sales goals
The ability to analyze defined sales territories to prioritize customer leads and mature them into qualified prospects, then close sales
Capability to produce sales presentation media including PowerPoint, electronic and use of social media, creative writing and presenting before groups
Provide MYMIC leadership with a monthly sales plan and a weekly reports on status of the sales pipeline
Develop personal relationships and trust at all levels of a customer organization
Creatively address customer problems as a true solutions provider
Required:
Sales experience that includes setting and achieving sales goals with commission payments a significant share of compensation
In-depth knowledge of OSHA standards, policies and procedures
Knowledge or experience in the safety, environmental or health industries
Ability to communicate with and present to all levels within prospect’s organization
Disciplined and accurate documentation of an opportunity pipeline and sales activities into Salesforce or other CRM program
Capable of creating sales presentations, web messages, position statements, and other sales collateral
Appropriate oral, written and interpersonal skills
Skilled in using MS Office especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Availability to travel for customer meetings, conferences, tradeshows, and on-site client visits
Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree
Previous enterprise software sales experience
Experience using WebEx, join.me, and Microsoft Movie Maker
Successful track record in training software outside sales
Certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or other relative certification
Experience building industry relationships, including but not limited to: prospective customers, trade association members, and vendor partnerships
