FSG Process Improvement Analyst 5 HII FLEET SUPPORT GROUP (0480) Hampton-Virginia-United States 27879BR External Job Description This is a part-time position. Position Specifics: *The selected candidate must have a CONFIDENTIAL level security clearance. To qualify for this position the selected candidate must have the following: • Prior experience with the PMS 312C, Carrier Planning Activity • Prior experience with CVN maintenance planning and execution • Demonstrated experience with Carrier Availability Work Packages (AWP) and requirements • Ability to interpret contract requirements and develop project management plans • Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word, and Power Point • Excellent communication and problem solving skills. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following: • Operates as an off-site, embedded, team member within the Newport News Shipbuilding (NNS) FORD Class In-Service Carrier (FC ISCVN) Program Office construct • Contributes to the development of new FC ISCVN and Early Service Life Period (ESLP) concepts, techniques, and standards • Defines, designs and implements program level, maintenance related strategies, policies and processes supporting the new FORD Class Carrier Continuous Maintenance and Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) Availability process to ensure they are integrated and aligned with execution goals and business strategies across the FC ISCVN organization • Ensures strategies, policies and processes are Analyzes strategies, policies and processes, compiles results, and presents findings to program and project management • Serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and program management Defines, designs and implements continuous improvement programs to ensure programs are integrated vertically and horizontally across organization. Defines improvement projects aligned with business strategies. Analyzes improvement programs and potential results. Facilitates and coaches improvement teams. Establishes and maintains performance metrics to measure program success. Installs process excellence supports for program governance, project reviews, communications, training, certifications and rewards. May have six-sigma certification.
