Surge Force is actively seeking talented and experienced Structural Welders. Must be able to demonstrate ability to perform multi-pass, all position fillet and butt welds using SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding), FCAW (Flux Cored Arc Welding) and GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding).
Must meet the required qualifications to be considered:
Minimum of 3 years working experience, shipyard/ship repair preferred, not required
Knowledge of welding techniques (oxygen-acetylene, electric arc, and TIG), tools and equipment
Pass a drug test and background check
Ability to obtain a DBIDS is a plus
