1st Quarter Safety Suggest Deadline

SAFETY SUGGESTION AWARD PROGRAM: VSRA member companies are encouraged to have their employees submit safety ideas. VSRA allows only member companies to participate in the Safety Suggestion Award Program.

Emergency First Response (Apr 6) CANCELED

Emergency First Response training is OSHA approved and internationally accepted.  This course meets the OSHA Guidelines CFR 1910.151 compliance standards for workplace safety.

NAVSEA Basic Paint Inspector Course PREP (Apr 6-8) CANCELED

This is perfect for workers who are going to attend the NBPI certification class or who need to retake the course/exam.

Human Resources Committee Meeting

The Human Resources Committee meets the first Wednesday of each month at 11:00 a.m., at the VSRA Office, 101 W. Main Street, Suite 5500 (5th Floor East), Norfolk, VA  23510.  We are located in the World Trade Center building.

Emergency First Response REFRESHER (Apr 7) CANCELED

This is a 1/2 a day refresher course from 7:30am to 11:30am. The EFR Refresher course meets OSHA Guidelines 29CFR 1910.151 compliance standards for workplace safety.

Quality Assurance ISO-9001-2015 Subcommittee Meeting

The VSRA QA ISO 9001:2015 Subcommittee Meetings will be held every other Thursday from 3/10 to 5/19, at 1:00 p.m. at Alliance Technical Services, Inc, 400 West 24th St, Norfolk, VA 23517.

VSRA General Membership Luncheon Meeting

VSRA Board of Directors meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the odd numbered months. The General Membership Luncheon meetings are held the third Tuesday of every month. The Chairman of the VSRA Board and the VSRA committee chairs report to the general membership at the monthly meeting, followed by a guest speaker's presentation. Each member company may have its designated representatives present at the general membership monthly luncheon meeting and is welcome to invite company guests.
