Industrial Division Supervisor - Coatings Subspecialty

Progressive Environmental Services is hiring a manager and supervisor for our Infrastructure Coatings Division. The position is a hands-on working position that oversees a crew of 3 to 5 people per job site with the capacity to supervise multiple locations. The supervisor will take charge of the coatings division day to day operations and work closely with company leadership to ensure a successful outcome. Job Requirements: • Working knowledge of industrial coatings including surface preparation, coating installation, safety and rigging • Oversight on quality issues including cleanliness and surface preparation, environmental conditions, installation techniques and tolerances • Ability to coordinate with customer, other trades and supply vendors • Able to troubleshoot equipment and materials • Good driving record, drug free • Must fulfill initial and annual training requirements • Minimum 3 years’ experience in some level of managing projects- i.e. supervisor, foreman. • Good math, writing and grammar skills • Physically able to perform tasks which include stooping, bending and squatting for extended periods and able to lift 50 lbs on a consistent basis Job Type: Full-time Required experience: • Industrial coatings experience a plus. Training will be provided. Required license or certification: • Drivers License • Able to get clearance for access to military bases: Highly desired Compensation: Starting pay $17 per hour with increases based on performance and experience
