Welder 1st Class

Summary: Lay out, fit, and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms, such as machinery frames, bridge parts, and pressure vessels, using knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and engineering requirements. Pay: $25 - 27/hour TIG Welder experience required Experience in at least one of the following metals: copper nickel, aluminum, titanium Experience in rotary table and wire feeders a plus Must be able to pass a weld test Education/Experience: High school diploma or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Work Environment: Non-Union, Monday - Friday, Day Shift The work environment is controlled (not a shipyard) and the characteristics are described as fast paced.
