2015 Tradesmen of the Year with Darrick Wickre of PNC Bank
The May General Membership Luncheon meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at the Portsmouth Renaissance Hotel. The luncheon will feature the nominees, and crown the winners, of the annual Virginia Ship Repair Foundation Tradesmen of the Year Awards, presented by PNC Bank. These awards honor the "best of the best" ship repairers in Hampton Roads.
The VSRF Tradesmen of the Year Awards, presented by PNC Bank, honor the “best of the best” ship repairers in Hampton Roads.
The Junior Tradesman of the Year is selected among member company nominees with less than 5 years of experience in their field, who demonstrate commitment, excellent skills, and a focus on safety, and serve as a role model to their fellow tradesmen.
The Senior Tradesman of the Year has more than 5 years of experience in their field, and demonstrates leadership, innovation in their craft, mentorship, and contributions to the community.
Each winner receives a check for $750 and other prizes, along with recognition on the VSRA website, and throughout the Ship Repair community.
