Marcus Boggs, of the VSRA Communications Committee, provides an insightful article on his interview with John Andrews, special assistant to the City Manager of Norfolk Marcus Jones.  The first in a  VSRA series on Veteran's Employment, Boggs asks tough questions about how well Hampton Roads is fulfilling the mission of getting Veterans into employment and how the Ship Repair industry can better position itself to be a conduit to increasing the employability and retention of former service members.

This is a exciting time to be part of the Association as we develop new partnerships and our membership continues to grow, our primary goal is the strength of the ship repair industry. We look forward to hearing our members weigh in on the way ahead, so please do not miss this presentation.

2014 Sponsorship Packages are now available!

 Many of our industry focused projects allow companies to increase their leadership and exposure footprint through sponsorships. The package is divided into two sections, sponsorships for the Virginia Ship Repair Association and sponsorships for activities conducted by the Virginia Ship Repair Foundation. Note: contributions to the 501(c)3 Foundation are tax deductible. "Together we are the Strength Behind the Fleet."
