He earned his submarine “Dolphins” aboard USS Stonewall Jackson (SSBN 634) and also served aboard USS Flying Fish (SSN 673), USS Alexander Hamilton (SSBN 617), and USS Richard B. Russell (SSN 687). He later qualified as a Surface Warfare Officer aboard USS Barney (DDG 6).

Following his retirement from the Navy, Bill continued his ship repair and maritime industry career with Atlantic Dry Dock in Jacksonville, Florida. He later held leadership positions with Colonna’s Shipyard and East Coast Repair and Fabrication before joining the Técnico family in July 2018. Bill originally served as Técnico’s Director of Southern Operations, where he consistently demonstrated exceptional engineering expertise, sound judgment, and strong technical management capability.

As Assistant Vice President for Special Projects, Bill is routinely entrusted with some of the company’s most complex and challenging assignments. He approaches each mission with enthusiasm, professionalism, and a clear commitment to operational success. As a senior maritime industry leader, he provides a strong foundation in operational excellence, strategic leadership, technical execution, and mission-critical performance.

Because of Bill’s unwavering commitment to excellence and more than 50 years of combined Navy and ship repair industry experience, he was selected to lead operations at Lyon Shipyard & Fabrication as General Manager.
