Mike Bruneau is vice president and general manager of BAE Systems Norfolk Ship Repair. He oversees the maintenance, repair, and modernization of dozens of non-nuclear combatant ships in the U.S. Navy's largest homeport. He assumed the role in 2021.
Bruneau joins BAE Systems after serving more than five years as the general manager of facilities and infrastructure for Fluke Corporation's industrial test, measurement and diagnostic equipment business unit in Everett, Washington. Among his previous management roles, Bruneau served as director of special programs at Vigor's Portland, Oregon shipyard, and as vice president and general manager of Wabtec Global Services while working from the rail technology company's headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Bruneau earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the U.S. Naval Academy and a master's degree in international management from Thunderbird-American School of International Management. He currently holds the rank of Captain in the U.S. Naval Reserves and serves as a foreign area officer.
