Cybersecurity requirements have moved from IT's problem to the contracts desk. CMMC, DFARS 252.204-7012, flow-down obligations, and evolving federal cyber mandates now shape how contracts are negotiated, priced, and performed - and getting them wrong can mean lost awards, breach liability, or contract termination.
