NAVSEA Standard Items for Ship Repairers FY10/11--3/3-4/2010**CX-lack of participation**

This 2 day course covers all pertinent Standard Items as well as changes, areas that are frequently cited or misunderstood, how to source information and what can be expected in future changes. This course is often cited by students as being very applicable to their jobs and contains information they will use immediately upon return to the work site.

The cableway program provides NAVSEA Cableway Training and Certification to students.

Senior Supervisor's Leadership Course 3-18-10 & 3-19-10

This course is designed for Supervisor's with more than 5 years experience.  Learning centers on leadership demands, behavioral management, tracking professional goals and developing stronger workers through career development and goal setting.

Blueprint Reading & Technical Drawing Orientation 3-23-10 to 3-26-10--CX-lack of participants

This course is directed to rising welders and shipfitters, or workers who need a familiarity with blueprint technology, symbols and design features specific to ships.

NAVSEA Basic Paint Inspector 'Prep' course 3-30-10 to 4-1-10

This is perfect for workers who are going to attend an NBPI course or who need to retake the course/ exam. 

Emergency First Responders (EFR) Certification--3-30-10

EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE Training is OSHA Approved and INTERNATIONALLY ACCEPTED. This course meets the OSHA Guidelines 29 CFR 1910.151 compliance standards for workplace safety. 

EFR refresher--3/31/2010

This is a 1/2 day refresher from 7:30am to 11:30am for those who were certified in 2007, and their certification will expire this year.   The EFR course meets OSHA Guidelines 29 CFR 1910.151 compliance standards for workplace safety.
