Logistics Analyst Staff

VSE Corporation is currently seeking a Logistics Analyst to fill a position at our Chesapeake, VA site to perform the following duties: Assigned to VSE Chesapeake- Global Maritime Division as a Logistics Analyst. Provides Logistics Support Services for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Follow-On Technical Support (FOTS) programs. Performs technical research on all material/service requirements submitted by Project Managers for each program assigned. Screens requirements through DOD/DLA Supply System and commercial vendors. Submits, performs follow-up actions and expedites requisitions. Prepares primary inputs for various Division reports. Investigates and resolves material discrepancies and shipping inquiries. Maintains and updates various databases for all assigned projects. Job Requirements 6-10 years USN/Armed Forces logistics support, with emphasis on sourcing/procurement. Shipboard Logistics experience a plus. High level of computer literacy. Particular experience with MS-EXCEL. Any experience with MS-ACCESS a plus. Outstanding interpersonal skills and proven ability to work as part of a diverse team (Corporate, U.S. Government, and FMS Customer Country personnel). Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and background screening. VSE Is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
