Tidewater Staffing seeking DC Scheduling Manager for a NEW Client in the Suffolk Area. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity.
The DC Scheduling Manager is responsible for planning daily work – order processing and projects – and communicating the plan to floor managers and to leadership. The role is also responsible for customer service excellence – ensuring that orders are processed and shipped accurately and on time – and is the primary customer service point of contact.
Based On Experience
1st and 2nd Shifts Available
DC Scheduling Manager duties include but not limited to:
Delivers the daily work plan to Operations leadership.
Participates, with the DC General Manager, in the daily Tegra US facility conference call to report DC activities, opportunities and achievements.
Provides daily, mid-shift and shift-change, reports with processing and project status updates.
Communicates with Norfolk Planning to prioritize and coordinate order processing and delivery of blanks materials and supplies to printing facilities.
Develops, produces and distributes daily through yearly periodic reports tracking productivity and Key Performance Indicators.
Oversees outbound traffic scheduling with Call for Routing customers, coordinating processing with outbound requirements.
Develops and Maintains reports on Tegra-owned inventory for periodic reporting to Tegra financial, customers and other stakeholders.
Through data mining and analysis, monitors throughput and inventory to identify opportunities for adjustments and improvements with the objective of delivering customer service excellence: balancing workflow, aligning Inventory with demand and maximizing efficiency and accuracy of processing.
Additional duties and projects as required.
DC Scheduling Manager Skills/Qualifications:
Individuals should have advanced knowledge and abilities with Microsoft Excel, especially pivot tables; should have intermediate knowledge and abilities with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; data mining fundamentals are required along with knowledge and experience using SQL to query databases.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
DC Scheduling Manager Supervisor Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, preferably with a business analytics focus; at least 2-5 years of inventory and distribution management.
