Selected personnel will be conducting preventive maintenance checks & services (PMCS) and systems validation on Landing Craft Utility (LCU-2000) at Fort Eustis, VA.
Position Specifics: candidates must have the following to qualify for this position.
• Must have preventive maintenance checks & services (PMCS) experience.
• Must have hands on experience with US Army watercraft systems in all of the following aspects; propulsion, hydraulics, piping, pneumatic, electrical and power generation.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain a DoD confidential security clearance and base access credentials.
Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical and maintenance data, such as material test results and engineering design changes. Produces engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics). Performs detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas; model dimensional consistency; and quantitative judgments concerning technical data. Uses personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports. May conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.
Job performance requires adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements of the job.

High School Diploma/GED
AA or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 1 year of related experience, or HS + 3 years related DoD experience.
• Candidates with 88L10 transportation school certification or higher are highly desired.
