Logistic Analyst II (Provision) Purpose: Serve as Valkyrie Logistician for new ship acquisition program providing logistic support service. Job Description: Make appropriate entries into Interactive Computer Aided Provisioning Systems (ICAPS). Support IPTs representing the product support interests and functional logistics elements teams to complete deliverables on time and on budget. Apply knowledge of logistics best practices and procedures for both government and commercial policies. Develop Provisioning Part Lists and Craft Level Provisioning Parts List. Develop and maintain Engineering Data For Provisioning (EDFP). Work with shipyard team to provide logistics support requirements in accordance with the vessels design. Report to the ILS Manager and is responsible for the oversight of product support activities and ensures that each ship logistics requirement are delivered and in compliance. Ability to operate within a short lead time and changing requirements. Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor's in related field or a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 4 years’ experience working Integrated Product Support U.S. Navy or U.S. Coast Guard new ship acquisition and sustainment programs required. Must have a background in ship logistics, design interface support. Would prefer provisioning experience. Must be familiar with ship’s arrangement and installation drawings. Must have a working knowledge of web-based product support software to include but not limited to ICAPS, CDMD-OA, and PMSMIS. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Must have proficient use of Microsoft Word and Excel, and familiarity with Military Documentation Standards Desired Qualifications: Previous U. S. Navy HM&E experience is plus. (MILSTDS) preferred. Security Requirements: Must have an Active DoD Secret security clearance and the ability to maintain clearance. Travel Requirements: Some travel may be required. If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Information
Provides support to the logistics function preparing logistics documentation to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment and related manuals to be deployed and stocked. Determines maintenance and repair materials required for deployment. Modifies maintenance records such as repair standards for more complex equipment or components. Develops requisitions for and manages records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals; tracks logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of storage facilities; reviews configuration changes to evaluate impact on logistics deployment; documents equipment, component and parts conditions; and identifies logistic support documentation to be included such as drawings, technical manuals, and maintenance requirement cards to support life-cycle of product.
