Nationwide Skilled Trades has an immediate opening for a Shipyard Competent Person (2nd shift) in Portsmouth, VA! 2nd shift hours are 4pm-3am. Requirements/Qualifications: Marine Chemist Certified Shipyard Competent Person certification (must be able to present) Experience in Shipyard safety with knowledge of 29 CFR 1915 Regulations Must be able to crawl in small openings & be comfortable working in confined areas. If you hold an active Shipyard Competent Person certification, this position is for you. Please come to the office at 705 S. Military Highway, Va Beach, VA 23464 between 9-11am or 1:30-4pm.
