Mobile Hydraulic Service Technician

• Must have a good driving record and be able to travel approximately a 50-mile radius to job sites when required. • Must be able to pass drug testing • Must be eligible to get a dBIDS credential for military installation access. • Must be able to troubleshoot Hydraulic systems on utility trucks and vans to include: Bucket trucks, Line trucks, Crane Trucks, Dump trucks, Lift gates, and other hydro/electric equipment. • Must be able to read and interpret schematics and parts manuals for mobile hydraulic equipment. • Must be familiar with flow meters, pressure gauges, Ohm meters, various measuring tools like calipers and micrometers. • Must be able to disassemble/open and Inspect/report the condition found on a variety of inch/metric cylinders, valves and other hydraulic components. • Must have own small hand tools and be able to work with minimal supervision. • Occasional overtime may be required. Position responsibilities will include but are not limited to: • Repairing small hand hydraulic and electrical tools and equipment for customers and the companies own tools to include Greenlee/ Textron, Greenlee/ Fairmont, Rothenberger, Gardner Bender, Enerpac, OTC and other manufacturers equipment. • Assembling and fabricating small hose or tubing assemblies. • Troubleshooting and repairing Dock Lifts, Edge of Docks and other dock equipment on customer sites. • Troubleshooting and repairing all mobile hydraulic systems on site or at the shop. • Overhauling and testing Air and Hydraulic Cylinders, Valves, pumps, motors, vacuum pumps and various other components.
