Yard Worker

Pay & Schedule: Full-time 7:30am-4:00pm $16/hr Temp-to-Hire after 30 days of consistent attendance Description: The yard worker or forklift operator will be working outside in the warehouse yard, securing freight ocean equipment for export and unloading import freight from ocean equipment. The yard worker will also clean the ocean equipment inside and out as well as the work area. Requirements: Heavy Forklift experience of at least one year Experience moving heavy objects required (1-year) Working outside in warehouse yard securing freight to ocean equipment containers (open top/flat rack) for export Unloading import freight from ocean equipment containers Cleaning off/out containers and work area sanitation required Must be able to follow directions, work independently or work in a team Careful handling of customer freight is necessary Previous use of chains/binders, strapping materials, tape measure, and power tools (nail guns or saws) Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination Must be able to follow directions, work independently Team player Resume & Interview required Background check and drug test required
