The Data Delivery Solutions team is seeking a Data Delivery Controller to be responsible for reviewing engineering documentation, reports, specifications, and drawings to determine appropriate documentation/material requirements needed to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and orders that reflect the latest requirements. A successful candidate will have a basic understanding of systems used to support drawing development/distribution, have demonstrated problem-solving skills, and have participated in providing feedback to improve processes as well as assist in creating new process improvements. This position will be located at our NetCenter location in Hampton, VA with a remote/hybrid schedule. #
What you will do
- Review engineering documentation, reports, specifications, and drawings to determine appropriatedocumentation/material requirements needed to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and orders that reflect the latest requirements.
- Mid to high-volume scanning of documents (including large-size drawings), performing quality control,collecting metadata from documents/drawings, and entering into a database.
- Analyze proposed changes in product design to determine effect on documents such as drawings, testspecifications, manuals, and ensures all documents have required approvals.
- Compile release packages ensuring all documentation is present.
- Notify appropriate departments of any new or updated data.
- Maintain audit trails.
- Research and resolve inconsistencies with design, production, material, or program office.

What you must have
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 0 years experience.
- Candidate must have experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
- Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a CONFIDENTIAL Security Clearance.
- Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
Preferred: Bonus points for...
- Basic Naval Ship Drawing Knowledge.
- Knowledge of system configuration management and a broad technical understanding of logistics products.
- Managing and organizing Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word documents.
- Customer service experience is also strongly desired.
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat Reader is desired.
