Aegis Weapon System Instructor, International Program Purpose: Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for a Aegis Weapon System Technical and Tactical Instructor who will be a key support to the Schoolhouse and Waterfront Teaching Cadre and partner with multi-instructor workforce for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) serving International customers such as: Japan, Korea, Spain, Norway and Australia. Job Description: Provide technical and tactical instruction in schoolhouse and shipboard environments. Develop and implement updates to Aegis curriculum training products. Develop new curriculum and modify existing curriculum. Conduct Train-the-Trainer (TTT) events as a presenter/instructor, presenting the Pilot Course including: Instruction and pilot monitoring Provide difference training at shore sites and aboard ship Provide follow up technical assistance. Interface with a diverse workforce including program management, engineers, customers, and other contractors. Qualifications: BA in a related discipline and at least 2 years experience in training development and delivery, OR Associate's Degree in related field and at least 4 years OR completion of a Military Master Training and at least 6 years experience listed above. Must have a strong Aegis technical and operations background with at least 10 years of experience successfully interfacing with customers. Must have Navy shipboard or Navy instructor training with Aegis Baseline 7 or Baseline 9 technical and operational experience. Must have strong communication skills ability to work in the team environment and individual. Desired Qualifications: Master Training Specialist Weapons Tactics Instructor (WTI) Joint Interface Control Officer (JICO) or Interface Control Officer (ICO) preferred Tactical Action Officer (TAO) qualification Air Warfare Coordinator (AWC) qualification Security Requirements: Must have an Active DoD Secret security clearance or clearance in interim. The eligibility to maintain a clearance. Travel Requirements: Must be able to travel at least 50% If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. (More information regarding REAL ID can be found: https://www.dhs.gov/real-id ) Physical Requirements: Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another. Communicating with others to exchange information. Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers. Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.
