Program Manager

QED seeks to hire a qualified Program Manager for a multi-year contract supporting all aspects of Navy watercraft life cycle support, technical support, industrial support, including watercraft construction, modernization, repair, prototyping, surveys, troubleshooting, logistics and material support, and watercraft operation and testing. The PM will serve as the primary company POC for technical matters, progress reporting, meetings, subcontractor oversight and customer communications. The PM will be responsible for managing and controlling all program costs, schedules, and contract manning requirements. Candidate must have a minimum of 5-years of experience in military small watercraft design, acquisition, testing, prototyping, construction, maintenance, and modernization, with a minimum of 10-years of experience serving in a Program Manager/Deputy PM capacity. Excellent verbal and written communications skills is required. Proficiencies in Microsoft Project and ERP also desired. Knowledge of Navy Watercraft and a general knowledge of Government contracting is required. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent formal education from an accredited institution in engineering, business, or managerial field. Bachelor of Science degree can be substituted with 8-years additional Program Management experience. Security Clearance/Naval Facility Access: U.S. citizenship required. Must be able to meet and maintain eligibility for U.S. Secret Clearance and/or be able to access military facilities, naval shipyards, and private shipyards.
