FPC is seeking a Marine Paint Supervisor. The Supervisor will oversee the painting and coating of ships and other marine structures. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, customer service skills, and leadership capabilities to manage a team effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and be comfortable working in a hands-on environment.
Duties
- Ensuring work meets high standards for both visual appeal and protection.
- Understanding different types of marine paints and coatings.
- Using specialized equipment like high-pressure sprayers and sandblasters.
- Reading blueprints and making precise measurements.
- Maintaining safety and efficiency in the painting process.
Experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various marine systems.
- Experience in customer service roles, demonstrating effective communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to take initiative when necessary.
All positions require a pre-employment medical test.
