We specialize in high-velocity oil flushing, ship repair, marine preservation, hydraulic system overhauls, and dockside availability projects for the U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Navy, and NOAA fleets.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead and execute USCG dockside availability repair projects. The ideal candidate will have prior military experience—specifically as a former USCG MKC (Machinery Technician Chief), EPO (Engineering Petty Officer), or above—with hands-on familiarity managing maintenance availabilities, repairs, and drydock/dockside schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all phases of USCG dockside availability projects (planning, execution, closeout)

  • Coordinate with USCG command, port engineers, and subcontractors

  • Develop project timelines, material logistics, labor schedules, and compliance plans

  • Oversee onsite work to ensure safety, quality assurance, and contract deliverables

  • Maintain daily project logs and reporting per contract requirements

  • Track scope of work and change orders in coordination with the Estimating and QA team

  • Ensure NAVSEA, SFLC, and USCG specification adherence

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior service as USCG MKC, EPO, or higher (RET. or HON. DISCH)

  • 10+ years experience in marine engineering, maintenance, or project management

  • Familiarity with USCG SFLC Work Item Specifications and Maintenance Procedures

  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands-on approach

  • Valid driver’s license; willing to travel to shipyards, piers, and work sites

Bonus Experience:

  • Experience with NAVSEA Standard Items, QA/QC oversight, or ISO/NAVSEA 009-04 programs

  • Proficiency in project management software and technical report writing

  • Military contracting or ship repair industry experience highly valued
