Plasma Machine Operator

Location: Hanwha Shipyard in Philadelphia, PA

Job Type: Long Term Project - Full Time

Wages:

$32.00 Per Hour

$150.00 Per Diem Offered For Eligible Non-local Employees

• $250 Bonus Paid Out Quarterly For Your 1st year
• $400.00 Travel Cash Advance Available
• 2 Weeks Lodging Pay Advance Available

Experience:

Minimum 5 years' previous experience operating plasma cutting machine (CNC preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate plasma cutting machines to process steel plates and structural parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, CAD files, and cutting instructions.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed.
• Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Maintain safety standards and ensure quality control throughout production.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience with CNC plasma cutting equipment.
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Familiarity with shipyard or heavy industrial environments is a plus.
• Basic computer skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Must Successfully pass a background check and drug test.
• Must be willing to work any shift and overtime if required.
