The Warehouse Manager will oversee daily operations of a busy Insulation and Decking shop, including receiving, shipping, inventory control, and space utilization. The primary objective is to maintain high inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily shipping, receiving, storage, inventory control, and maintenance operations.
- Team Leadership. Supervise, coach, and schedule warehouse staff while promoting a safety-first culture.
- Process Optimization. Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency.
- Layout Efficiency. Design and optimize warehouse layouts to maximize space utilization.
Role Requirements
- Experience. 3+ years of warehouse leadership or supervisory experience.
- Technical Skills. Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Excel.
- Certifications. Forklift certification or the ability to operate material-handling equipment is preferred.
- Communication. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
