Position Description: Wartsila Defense, Inc., is currently seeking a Technical Sales Support Expert for our Chesapeake, VA office. Main Responsibilities: - Provide technical support for all seals and bearings contracts in WDI. - Interface with internal departments, Wartsila product factories, external customers and suppliers to assure that all contract requirements and terms are fulfilled in the required sequence. - Assure that all inspections and tests are completed as required. - Assist purchasing department to assure compliance with contractural requirements and specifications when submitting purchase orders to suppliers or Wartsila product companies. - Develop, maintain and control technical documentation and digital support tools, and provide training to employees on seals and bearings. - Manage numerous project support activities at any one time, through various functional areas.
