In 2015, multiple snow days for the area schools posed a problem. However, VSRA volunteers were still able to reach 3,425 middle and high school students! An Industry Day at Phoebus High School in Hampton afforded VSRF an opportunity to partner with the City of Hampton high schools' "Academies of Hampton." In addition, more than 4,800 elementary students received Ship Repair Career Kits in their classrooms.
