There were 193 registrants signed up to attend representing 54 VSRA member companies.

We want to extend our appreciation to the 82 representatives in attendance representing 39 sponsor companies for the dynamic, interactive displays they provided.

Many thanks to our 10 keynote speakers and presenters who provided attendees timely and beneficial information vital to safety in the ship repair industry.  The importance of this year’s safety theme, “Stayin Alive Another 25” was underscored by the remarks of each of our presenters.

Agenda highlights included:  Opening Keynote, Kevin Terry, General Dynamics - NASSCO Norfolk; What To Do When OSHA Comes Knocking; Leadership Engagement; Mentorship Safety Panel; Confined Space; Fire Prevention; Gas Detection Technology DEMO; Ventilation DEMO; and Rigging & Signal DEMO.

Seminar attendees were impacted by a powerful Signal Safety video presented during the Lunch session.

Additional highlights of the event were the “Jeopardy” game and numerous prize drawings.

Plans are already underway for next year’s 26th Annual Safety & Health Seminar.  Please plan on supporting safety by sponsoring this important event in 2022.
