The second seminar, "Cybersecurity and CMMC for Contracts Managers: What When and How?", will take place on Wednesday, November 08 2023 from 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM
Seminars will be held in the VSRA Office in-person located in Downtown Norfolk's World Trade Center. Participants will also have a virtual option to attend included with their registration.
Following the seminars, participants will have the opportunity to enjoy a networking social with hors d'oeuvres and "adult beverages."
Local Cybersecurity experts will cover the most common challenges defense contractors face in implementing the NIST SP 800-171/CMMC. Navigating the vast governance and technical options to meet the requirements of CMMC is plaguing many of the businesses in our own backyard. This session will provide a unique perspective to cybersecurity compliance which will provide valuable insight to both technical and non-technical stakeholders including executives, CISOs, in-house counsel, compliance officers, and IT personnel. The event will also be extremely valuable for non-U.S. defense contractors who will eventually be subject to cybersecurity requirements but may not have access to the same security solutions available to U.S.-based defense contractors. This is one that you will not want to miss!
