The VSRA Human Resources Professional Development Seminar was held on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at WHRO. There were "50" HR Professionals in attendance for this 1/2 day seminar sponsored by the VSRA Human Resources Committee.
Presenters and topics included: Robert Johnson – "Employee Drug Testing – New Challenges and Policies;" John DiDio – "Affirmative Action and EEO Recordkeeping Compliance"; Chris Abel – "Complying With the Service Contract Act;" and Matt Jones - The Affordable Care Act and Private Exchanges."
This seminar was approved for HRCI for 3.00 (General) recertification credit hours toward PHR, SPHR and GPHR recertification through the HR Certification Institute.
