Michelle Tomaszewski Ph.D. SPHR, leads Association efforts in developing innovative programming to meet the development challenges member companies face in growing their workforce and maintaining a healthy industry image.
Michelle has more than ten years experience in corporate Human Resources and Training environments, and an additional fifteen years of experience in leveraging partnerships, designing new initiatives and providing development support for workforce programs. She has worked with a diverse array of industries and organizations in new program feasibility studies and implementation designs. Among them Bosch, STIHL, Virginia Maritime Association, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, JFCOM and The Vatican. She is the volunteer Exec. Dir. of The Literacy Partnership, sits on the Norfolk Education Foundation Board and is the team mom for the Kecoughtan Varsity football team. She has two sons ages 14 and 17.
Michelle holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from the University of Maryland; a Master's in Organizational Management from Murray State University and a B.S. in Industrial Psychology from Concordia University.
