Human Resources Committee Meeting

The Human Resources Committee meets the first Wednesday of each month at 11:00 a.m., at the VSRA Office, 101 W. Main Street, Suite 5500 (5th Floor East), Norfolk, VA  23510.  We are located in the World Trade Center building.

Parking is available in the Town Point Parking Garage on Main Street directly across the street from the World Trade Center building.  Please bring your parking ticket with you for validation.

Safety and Environmental Committee Meeting

The Safety & Environmental Committee meetings are on the 2nd Thursday of every ODD month at 9:00 a.m. at the VSRA Office, 101 W. Main Street, Suite 5500 (5th Floor East), Norfolk, VA  23510.  We are located in the World Trade Center building.

This is a 2 day course that explains the history and purpose of the NAVSEA Standard Items.

Quality Management Board (QMB) Meeting

The QMB / Quality Assurance Committee  combined meeting will be held on the second Tuesday of every ODD month starting at 9:00 a.m., at the VSRA Offices, 101 W. Main Street, Suite 5500 (5th Floor East), Norfolk, VA  23510.  We are located in the World Trade Center building.  The QA Committee session will begin immediately following the QMB session.

Quality Assurance Committee Meeting

The QMB / Quality Assurance Committee combined meeting will be held on the second Tuesday of every ODD month starting at 9:00 a.m., at the VSRA Offices, 101 W. OSHA 10 Hour Maritime Industry Course (July 20-21)

The OSHA 10 Hour Maritime Industry course awards the 10-Hour certification card and meets all of the mandated regulations for the Maritime Industry (OSHA Code of Federal Regulations 29 CFR 1915) course in a format that specifically addresses the challenges and environmental conditions specific to the shipyards. In addition, shipyard specific regulations and issues are covered in depth. Instructors are authorized by OSHA endorsed certification programs. Cards are issued through the Instructor's certifying body. All book, material and certification costs are covered in the course fee.

Leadership Course (July 29-31)

VSRA has partnered with Virginia Wesleyan University to provide a 2-and-a-half day Leadership course, upon successful completion attendees will receive a Certificate of Completion from Virginia Wesleyan University sponsored by the VSRA.
