The third seminar titled "Terminations for Convenience and Default: Contractors' and Subcontractors' Recourse", will take place on Wednesday, November 17 from 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM. It will be held in the VSRA Office in-person located in Downtown Norfolk's World Trade Center, from 3:00 - 4:30 PM. Participants will also have a virtual option to attend included with their registration.

Following the seminar, participants will have the opportunity to enjoy a networking social with hors d'oeuvres and "adult beverages."

This seminar will deal with the termination of federal contracts including those terminated for default, for convenience, by mutual agreement, and under commercial item contracts. We will discuss the proper methods, forms, and provide tips for maximizing your recovery or limiting your liability in such situations. We will also discuss the differences and similarities between terminations and change order descoping. We hope to present this through a panel discussion and from the different perspectives of a contractor, a lawyer, and an accountant.

Speakers

Dan Weckstein, Vandeventer Black
