Upcoming September General Membership Luncheon Speaker: CAPT Dan Hemminger, Commanding Officer, MARMC (Invited)

As stated at the August Luncheon, the Virginia Ship Repair Association is pleased to announce that Captain Daniel Hemminger, the Commanding Officer of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC), has been invited to be the guest speaker at the General Membership Luncheon on Tuesday, September 9th.

A native of Annapolis, Maryland, CAPT Hemminger is a 2004 graduate of the United States Naval Academy, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Ocean Engineering. He later earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School. His distinguished career as an Engineering Duty Officer has included several key maintenance and repair assignments, including tours at the Southwest Regional Maintenance Center, Forward Deployed Regional Maintenance Center (FDRMC) Detachment Rota, Spain, and U.S. Fleet Forces Command. Prior to his current role, he served as the Waterfront Operations Officer and Chief of Staff at MARMC.
