At our May General Membership Meeting, RDML William J. Galinis, Commander, Navy Regional Maintenance Center, joined us to present updates. He spoke of the journey ahead as the RMCs realign under CNRMC -- including SWRMC, SERMC, and NSSA aligning as Echelon IV -- and work to establish a notional Regional Maintenance Center organizational structure with standardized policies, instruction, and procedures to streamline work processes.
RDML Galinis also shed some light on the RMCs Fiscal Year 2014 Focus Areas, including cost stabilization of private sector ship availabilities and improvement of enterprise communications with Navy customers.
