Security Committee Meeting

The Security Committee meets the first Tuesday of every odd month at 10:00 a.m. at the VSRA Office, 101 W. Main Street, Suite 5500 (5th Floor East), Norfolk, VA  23510.  We are located in the World Trade Center building.

Parking is available in the Town Point Parking Garage on Main Street directly across the street from the World Trade Center building.  Please bring your parking ticket with you for validation.

Human Resources Committee Meeting

The Human Resources Committee meets the first Wednesday of each month at 11:00 a.m., at the VSRA Office, 101 W. Main Street, Suite 5500 (5th Floor East), Norfolk, VA  23510.  We are located in the World Trade Center building.

This is perfect for workers who are going to attend the NBPI certification class or who need to retake the course/exam.

Quality Management Board (QMB) Meeting

The QMB / Quality Assurance Committee  combined meeting will be held on the second Tuesday of every ODD month starting at 9:00 a.m., at the VSRA Offices, 101 W. Main Street, Suite 5500 (5th Floor East), Norfolk, VA  23510.  We are located in the World Trade Center building.  The QA Committee session will begin immediately following the QMB session.

VSRA is one of the few organizations authorized to instruct this very specialized course.

Mark your calendars for the 39th Annual VSRF Golf Tournament on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Cypress Point Country Club.

OSHA 10 Hour Maritime Industry Course (September 22-23)

The OSHA 10 Hour Maritime Industry course awards the 10-Hour certification card and meets all of the mandated regulations for the Maritime Industry (OSHA Code of Federal Regulations 29 CFR 1915) course in a format that specifically addresses the challenges and environmental conditions specific to the shipyards. In addition, shipyard specific regulations and issues are covered in depth. Instructors are authorized by OSHA endorsed certification programs. Cards are issued through the Instructor's certifying body. All book, material and certification costs are covered in the course fee.

2026 ASNE / VSRA / FMMS Joint Luncheon & Keynote Meeting

For the month of September, in lieu of our regularly scheduled VSRA General Membership Luncheon Meeting, we will be participating in a joint luncheon meeting with the Fleet Maintenance & Modernization Symposium (FMMS).
