Crofton is seeking a Project Manager Assistant (PMA) to join our team.
The ideal Project Management Assistant (PMA) will be highly organized and meticulous with the ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment. A successful PMA is focused and supportive to management at all times, possessing the ability to be adaptable and remain effective and calm under pressure.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Assist with the planning, strategy and implementation of project
- Assist PM in the execution of management plan of project
- Coordinate project tasks/activities, resource requirements and timeline
- Execute daily operational task in an efficient, timely manner
- Facilitate communication between field, field office and main office
- Help problem solve issues, and suggest improvements
- Organize, file, and maintain project documents
- Enter information into computer systems and verify accuracy
- Assist in ensuring compliance of specifications
- Assist with direction and support to project team
- Quality assurance
- Coordinate and monitor progress of the project to all
- Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
- Assist with project evaluations and assessment of results
- Participate in client meetings
- Performs other related duties as assigned

- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and other management software as required to perform duties including Sage, Fleet Cost & Care, Bluebeam, Heavy Bid, and Microsoft Project
Education and Experience:
- Minimum Bachelor degree in Construction Management or experience equivalent
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in this or related position
- 5 years’ experience in lieu bachelor’s degree
- Qualification in Construction PM or business management
- Experience in planning, risk and change management
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time
- Exposure to characteristic Construction and marine site dangers
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
- Prolonged periods of sitting and work on a computer
- Able to traverse all areas of the jobsite; this may require walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching
