Payroll Administrator’s Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation and processing of weekly and biweekly payrolls for over 300 employees
Review and ensure accuracy of timesheets
Track and deduct garnishments, pay levies and other special deductions
Administer the electronic timekeeping system, monitor submissions of timesheets and ensure valid data transfers to / from payroll software
Review payroll changes for proper authorization and adherence to policy, including compliance with federal / state / and local regulations
Assist in processing the filing of payroll taxes and payroll deductions
Prepare GL reconciliations and journal entries
Maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
Handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines
Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
