Subcontract Administrator

Subcontract Administrator's Essential Roles and Responsibilities: Serve as the focal when bids come into the organization for outside support Read and interpret technical data, such as production drawings, and manuals in support of operations Provides task order and delivery support to Production and Procurement Fosters and establishes good long term relationships with various partners in industry Price analysis and negotiation of vendor proposals Originate and maintain contractual documentation with the external suppliers Communicate effectively with internal and external customers Resolve delivery, receiving and invoicing issues Able to learn and effectively use company software Perform business math Demonstrate a basic understanding of military and commercial specifications, standards and sizes related to materials and equipment Qualifications: Reliable transportation to and from work BA / BS in Business Administration or a related academic field of study plus two years experience or AA / AS plus four years experience or eight years experience Proven experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and Project Fairlead Integrated, LLC. and its subsidiaries are proud to be Equal Employ Opportunity and Affirmative Action employers (Minority / Female/ Disability / Veterans).

Information
Responsible for all facets of subcontract management and administration, to include:
• Ensure company and subcontractors compliance with FAR/DFAR, applicable regulations, and/or company policies and procedures
• Prepare, perform, and document all phases of the procurement process such as: competitive source selections; prepare solicitations and proposals; evaluate subcontractor proposals including cost/price analysis; negotiate for best value; make award determination
• Subcontract and Purchase Order formation, negotiation, administration, and closeout
• Monitor subcontractor performance and progress to ensure compliance with all subcontract terms and conditions including schedule and delivery, scope of work, and cost
• Resolves issues regarding subcontractor performance, claims, and changes
• Maintain paper and electronic files for review and audit
• Track and report small business achievement and goals
• Work closely with Contracts, Accounting, and Operations Department
• Performs other duties as assigned

Degree/Experience MINIMUM Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
• At least 8 years of related experience in DoD subcontracting relating to AIT Installation Support
• Working FAR/DFAR knowledge
• Experience with CPFF, T&M, and FFP types of contracts and subcontracts
• Experience with DCAA and DCMA audits and compliance
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Sharepoint
• Must be able to work independently on a full-time basis, with limited overtime and travel possible
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance
• Deltek experience preferred
Compensation
50-60K depending on experience
